Kathryn walked into the classroom in a huff, extremely irritated because of her run-in with Peeves. The stupid ghost had picked she and her sister as the targets of the week, it seemed. Today, he had decided to dissapear, and as she was rounding the corner he reappeared and screamed; apparently his attentions had been to scare her. Fortunately for her, she had remembered a very useful charm, Wadiwassi, and was able to scare him off with a bit of chewing gum. Kathryn grinned when she remembered the halarious scenario, barely able to contain her laughter.

Name:Razin Matron House:Huffepuff Year:7 Role-Play Sample: Razin loved charms class, it was one of his three favorite classes, as the classes changed, Razin was pleased it was charms next. He made his way into the room and sat down in one of the seats beside a Gryffindor and another Hufflepuff. It appeared he was the last one in the classroom and the professor, with a flick of his wand, shut the door. The professor gave a lecture about the Fidelius Charm and decided since that did'nt take to long that they should all practice the Freezing Charm. Razin pulled out his wand andpointed it at the moving target and said "Immobulus." which instantly stopped the target in mid-air.
Rachella slipped into the Charms classroom, quickly moving to her seat. The professor started to talk about a new spell, Ringificus. It was supposed to draw a ring or protection around you. Rachella thought it was useless. It protected the same things Protego did, which everyone knew did not include the Three Unforgivables. The professor told them to practice it with a partner, with one shielding, one trying to hex. They were supposed to try it verbally, then nonverbally. Sighing, she quickly scanned the room for a partner. Finding her sister, she walked over to her.
After a half hour's worth of casting and shielding, the two Cromwell sisters could correctly cast the Ring, to the delight of their professor.
Daphne shifted slightly in her seat, wondering when the profesor would start the lesson. After a few more minutes of silence, the professor finally glanced up, and Daphne nearly heaved a sigh of relief. That was quickly averted when he told them the spell he wanted them to try. Ringificus. It sounded simple, but she had trouble casting things nonverbally, and he wanted them to get that by the end of class. She then caught the rest of his sentence and wanted to groan. She hated working with partners, especially other Slytherins. When she didn't have one after five minutes, the teacher paired her with a Gryffindor, much to their chagrin.
Iolite strode proudly into the room, her blue gowns rippling at her feet and her ebonite hair loose on her back. She sat by some Gryffindors, and some fellow Ravenclaws soon joined them. Their free chattering nearly ceased when the proffessor briskly entered the room. "Alright all right, settle down now. Take out your wands and make something fly. Today we're working on nonverbal spells. Yes," He added, after seeing the Ravenclaws lift their eyes at this novice work, "I know you've already done this, but today we'll be learning new spells without words. Just trust me," He smiled at them. Still, some of the Ravenclaws were skeptical, and already thinking about how they could be learning important spells instead of review the ones they already knew. 'Wingardium Leviosa,' She thought. The chalkboard lifted a few feet off the ground, the proffessor was a bit startled but let the matter pass when his green board didn't clash to the ground. "Alright warm up done, now the real work begins. Take out your textbooks and turn to page 530," The chalkboard carefully settled on the ground and a small grin found itself on Iolite's face.

Name: Luna Lovegood House: Ravenclaw Year: 6th Role-Play Sample: Luna walked into the classroom, bag one her shoulder, a wand tucked behind her ear, and the Quibbler in her hand. It was her favorite issue. The one with a spell hidden in a puzzle. She loved to figure it out, even if she could do it in seconds now. Luna took a seat in the middle of the class room. She opened the magazine, flipped it upside down, and started to read. She hoped she had this class with Ginny. Only because Ginny was about her only friend.
